Why Anew

Steve Jobs once said he would trade all of his technology for an afternoon with Socrates. We think technology should work the other way around: it should give people that afternoon.

Anew takes on the chores, so the afternoon is free — for family, for a walk outside, for a meal made slowly, for the people and the world around you.

That is what we mean by living in harmony with each other and with nature: a home that runs quietly, wastes less, and leaves more room for what matters.

Anew is being built by Anureka Inc., a small company in California.
